After 9 years of living in the city, I unfortunately moved out with my parents to the countryside of Gdańsk. Very remote area, as it’s not even the pinned location, but a few kilometers away. Having almost no buses or any other form of public transport. I had to rely on my parents all the time.

After lots of discussions with my parents and school pedagogue, I started gradually moving myself out of the parents home. I was living during the week at my grandmothers flat, and coming back to parents for the weekend.

After years of living with parents - I have finally moved, like really moved - not for school days, for all the time! I am grateful to my brother, as this wouldn’t be possible without him. I was 17 at that time, and legally it’s not possible. See more at Family’s home move out at 17yo.

Alicante, Spain
My brother was to go for an Erasmus+ internship at the University in Alicante. I decided I’d like to go with him, I heard a lot of good things about Spain, maybe this will be the place to live for me? Spent over a month there. After this came back to Gdańsk, where I was renting the flat with my brother.

Because of a volunteering job I had, I moved out to Kraków for 3 weeks.

Found a really cheap dormitory in the center of Warsaw, lived there for 2 weeks and then went for the Middle East Hitchhiking trip.

After more than a year living in Gdańsk after moving out with my brother I am living at my parents home, but it’s just temporary trust me.

It’s super random that I live here, but it’s because I didn’t get a dorm room, and after contacting my ex-school principal she decided to write a message on school’s discord, tagging like 10k people and asking if there’s anyone that can host me. Fortunately I’ve found this place, it’s super great out here.
Situations like this make me feel that I can get myself out of any situation no matter what.
I am literally living in a 2-room apartment alone, without anyone else and without paying anything. Should I say that I love people or what?

I finally got my place in a dormitory. For 100$ a month I have accommodation in the center of Warsaw. Maybe I have 2-people room, but that’s bearable. At least some motivation to keep me outside.

Trying to save a little bit of money. And living in that dorm was horrible, the guy with who I was sharing the room was playing games all the time, being super fucking loud. And I didn’t really have friends there.
