Fraternal Schwinns is the sixteenth episode of Season 10 of Frasier.
Synopsis[]
Frasier and Niles must learn to ride bicycles for the first time in their lives, in order to participate in the KACL Bike-a-thon.

It is announced at KACL that the annual Bike-a-thon is around the corner and after conversing with Roz, Julia and Kenny, Frasier jokes about going but eventually goes to it. He tells Niles and Daphne that he plans on going and when Niles says he doesn't "envy him", Daphne convinces that she and Niles should enter the Bike-a-thon. Frasier and Niles go bike shopping and argue that they do not know how to ride bikes. They even go as far as faking the thefts of their bikes to get out of going to the Bike-a-thon. They reluctantly tell Daphne and she agrees to teach them how to ride bikes, which they barely succeed in doing. Frasier, Niles, Daphne and all of the KACL members appear at the Bike-a-thon. Julia jokingly tells Frasier she hopes "she can steer around that mailbox", which Frasier gets fixated on. Frasier ends up finishing the Bike-a-thon at dusk and throws his bicycle into the trash bin (during the credits).
Meanwhile, Martin bumps into Cora Winston in the elevator where she reveals Daphne's mother Gertrude caused their relationship to fall apart due to the fact that "she was in the British Secret Service and had a license to kill". A furious Martin confronts Gertrude about the demise (it is also implied that Gertrude also caused the demise of a previous relationship with "the woman from the bookstore"). Refusing to accept Gertrude's apology, Martin angrily gives her the silent treatment, even pretending to think that she doesn't exist while at Cafe Nervosa with the family. Gertrude attempts to make it up, but a still-furious Martin does not acknowledge. Eventually, she encounters Cora once more and apologizes for her crude behavior. She reveals that after she and Daphne's father divorced, she was hoping she would be able to romance with Martin despite not being an actual couple. With this put behind them, Cora makes amends with Martin and agrees to go to dinner with him.
