Synopsis[]
MARSHA MASON GUEST-STARS – Surprised to learn that their dad has been dating two women at one time, Frasier and Niles rejoice when one of the ladies (guest star Jane Kaczmarek) wants to break up with him. Their excitement wanes when they encounter Sherry, the brash woman who has stolen Martin's heart. Also, Roz is embarrassed to run into an old high school friend when she's not looking her best.

CONTINUITY
- According to the first two season finales, Martin's birthday is in the spring but in this episode it is in January.
- Martin describes his late wife Hester as a person who was tolerant and loathe to criticize others. This hardly describes the Hester who threatened to kill Diane Chambers on Cheers if she did not break her engagement with Frasier and she still couldn't stand Diane in the episode Don Juan In Hell: Part 2, although the later was Frasier's mental projection of her.
- Maureen and Martin have been seeing each other ever since they started dating. Despite this, Maureen did not appear on the show during the intervening time, nor was it ever mentioned that Marty was in a relationship during all that time.
