WCS 2025 – New World Champion!
We are thrilled to announce the winner of this year’s Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances World Championship Server (WCS) 2025. The alliance who earned first place is: Schaffa 2025 By being first to defeat the Forgotten Fortress, they have earned their place as the #1 alliance on the WCS as well as the entire game. Hello Commanders! We will be performing scheduled maintenance on our servers on Tuesday, 24th March 2026. For this reason, ALL worlds will become unavailable, and progress will be paused. There will be no game update in this process. Every world will be offline for up to 6 hours. We start to take down the worlds around 06:00 UTC. Hello EA Games and hello fellow C&C fans! The C&C Remastered Collection was a success for EA, both loved by gamers and also sold very well. Just this year C&C The Ultimate Collection went live on Steam and immediately got into the top 20 most popular steam titles where it held for like a month EA's surprise megadump of classic Command & Conquer games means Europe's March game sales were dominated by 25-year-old RTSes, beating WWE 2K24 and Nintendo (article by PC Gamer) It's been 4 years and complete radio silence from EA on the future of C&C as a real RTS game on PC and console, where the series belongs, no offense to mobile gamers. The demand for say a second remastered collection with Red Alert 2, Tiberian Sun or Generals or who knows maybe a completely new title is there and it's real. People on the C&C communities in Reddit and Facebook still ask about it regularly although they're beginning to doubt if we'll ever see something. The release of C&C Ultimate Collection on Steam this March and the huge success it was made fans hopeful that this actually means EA has not forgotten about the series and was planning to do something with it. The guys at Petroglyph and Lemon Sky who did the first remasters have said they're willing to do it again, the community wants it, the games sell well, what more is needed? We're eagerly awaiting to hear back from EA Games as we always have been throughout the years. FireHawks Splash Damage ....Bug?
So I noticed this on Server 71 as I was simming to hit a base. We know FireHawks deal splash damage, and Verts don't obviously, but what I am a little perplexed by, is that even if you do damage to the base Defenses, there is always damage done to buildings and structures once you get by the "defenses". I uploaded a video of what I am seeing and it clearly shows, 3 FH's, they do damage to barbed wire ...2 get owned and the 3rd gets through with no damage whatsoever. However, after getting through defenses unscathed...am I to believe now that the FH has exhausted its ammunition and can no longer do any damage? That would be a new one to me. No splash damage to any structures and it flies directly over CY with not a smidge of damage. Maybe a Dev could explain this one ? These no malus no FA worlds are great but I noticed less experienced players are finding lower level targets (16-20) just as difficult as more experienced players are having with these higher level bases (26-30). So what I mean specifically by this is that i can shoot outposts 3-6 levels above my army level and the difficulty is somewhat similar to shooting the same unit vs unit set ups that are 10-15 levels above my OL. My presumption is that if the lower level targets were much easier to destroy than it would encourage less experienced players to try and shoot higher level targets, maybe by having a negative malus effect on smaller stuff it would compel players to aim a little higher in target level choices. I know its been difficult with all the changing development teams to keep an even keel but to have such a massive difference in power level between a new player and even a somewhat experienced player after only one week of playing is a bit ostentatious. If i had it my way you would all be punished in a way that you would enjoy very much in that implementation of a fair and competitive environment of my design would be invigorating for the current player base. The very best way to make the servers fun would be to go back to the beginning of this games rule base and start the process of patching out the exploits all over again but with a more experienced vantage point. There's still time EA, with the advent of war on the horizon many more people will look for ways to alleviate their frustrations and nervous energy, inclusion and immersion solve issues that matter, especially in times like these. if i could build my own server i would increase world size remove poi and place the fort at the level 40 range with a slight malus on the current FS30 settings. There would be a huge advantage to collaboration efforts and a scrin faction is still very appealing is the player base not contributing enough resources to do a bit better? why do people even make games i forget? chadthurston278Views0likes8Comments50 Player Dream Team
Not sure if it's been posted before, but I think enough veterans are still around to have fun with this idea if not. Name your 50 player dream team. All egos aside, imagine cultural and language barriers do not exist, time to play is magically available; just the top 50 that you've seen play this game assuming no alts or intentional feeding are allowed, standardized script packs. (alts/feeding are viable strategies but are dictated more by time and funds in addition to skill). Leadership vs consistent play is up to you and how you build your team, assume PvP will happen against another "dream team" to win if that affects your choices. Feel free to do top 10,20,30 or however many you wish, ordering is not required either. Ok, so I have this very odd problem with Command and Conquer: Generals / Zero Hour on Windows10 x64 latest and greatest patches. So here's the issue... The game launches fine... everything works fine... but every tens seconds, like clock work, it freezes for 8seconds ( I used a stop watch to time it, it's very consistent). The mouse still moves, the audio still plays, but the video locks and none of the menu options work. This happens in the intro movie, the main title screen and in game. I've tried several different video settings, various resolutions etc etc. I've never had this problem with Windows7 (same hardware). The initial issue was discovered using my original CDs a few months back. I pretty much gave up on the game (which is sad b/c it's my favorite). Then EA had a sale for the Ultimate bundle and I bought that. The game worked fine for a week or two then boom, right back to the freezing issue. No other games I play have this problem... and various games from Origin and other manufactures work fine. Seems to only be C&C:G/ZH I'm a windows administrator and haven been around PC and working on PCs for well over 30yrs (showing my age, lol). Liquid Ocelot here, formerly known by the CNC community as DvtAntiDarWIN There has been no news about new CNC game from EA games now word on the street is that the majority of the shares of Electronic Arts are purchased by Saudi Arabia; Now the Saudi Arabians love soccer that is why we see new FC game titles each year also we see Battlefield titles updated and mumbo jumbo. I can't log in to any of the servers I've tried clearing my cache and also using another browser (I usually use Google Chrome; I've tried Firefox), and the problem is the same in both cases. I tried to use the links that were recommended for similar problems of players in this forum, the problem is not solved.
