Celebrating its eighth year on the list, software and electronic design company Cadence is prioritizing diversity with the introduction of five new inclusion groups for Black, Latinx, and LGBTQ+ employees, as well as veterans and women. The company has also helped its employees thrive in a virtual environment by creating manager training and toolkits to help leaders navigate remote work. Cadence offers additional health coverage for transgender employees, as well as resources for staff who have a child in their family with a developmental disability. Beyond these extra forms of support, the company has also prioritized compensation: In the past three years, Cadence has reached pay parity based on race and ethnicity in the U.S. and gender globally. On top of that, the company has doled out more than $10 million in peer-to-peer recognition awards since 2016.
