Pinpoint: apply for early access to generative AI features

Thank you for your interest in early access to generative AI features in Pinpoint. Early access provides users the opportunity to test research features built with generative AI technology. Any user with full access to Pinpoint is eligible to apply. If you are a journalist or an academic researcher and do not have access to Pinpoint yet, please request access here.

Pinpoint generative AI features are currently available for English-language documents and for users in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, France, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Poland, Spain, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and United States. We will continue to expand to other languages and regions. Check the latest regional availability status and language support in our Help Center.

Access approvals may take some time and depend on the availability of features in your geographic area. We will follow up on email if you are granted access.

Your early access to Pinpoint Generative AI features

Your access and  use of Pinpoint’s early access generative AI features are subject to Google's Terms of Service, Pinpoint’s Additional Terms of Service, Generative AI Additional Terms of Service (as may be updated), Generative AI-Prohibited Use Policy and our Privacy Policy.

Help us improve by providing early feedback

The purpose of early access is to receive feedback from users about the functionality and utility these features provide. By agreeing to participate, you are agreeing to provide product feedback for Pinpoint's Generative AI features. You may be invited to participate in a study or receive an email with an online survey for feedback using the email you provide in this form.

Your data and Pinpoint Generative AI features

This notice and our Privacy Policy describe how Google handles your Pinpoint data. Please read them carefully.

Google collects your Pinpoint product usage information, your location, and your feedback, such as in-product feedback, inputs, and edits. Google uses this data, consistent with our Privacy Policy, to provide, improve, and develop Google products and services across Google, including machine learning technologies. 

To help with quality and improve our products, Google human reviewers may read, annotate and process a sample of your Pinpoint data, including your prompts. We take steps to protect your privacy as part of these processes. This includes disconnecting your interactions with Pinpoint from your Google Account by default before reviewers see or annotate them. Don’t include information that can be used to identify you, such as phone numbers, email addresses, or birthdates when using Pinpoint’s Generative AI features.

Generative AI features are experimental

Pinpoint generative AI features may display inaccurate information, including about people, so always review any responses. Responses don't represent Google’s views.

Early Access Participation Consent

By signing up for early access to Pinpoint's generative AI features, you acknowledge that Google and its affiliates will use your responses and any information that personally identifies you to improve Google’s current and future products and services in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). Use of the Pinpoint research features  is subject to the terms and conditions in Google's Terms of Service, Pinpoint’s Additional Terms of Service, Generative AI Additional Terms of Service,  and our Privacy Policy.
