Just finished Breakneck by Dan Wang. While the book uses China as its focal point, the bigger lesson is far broader.
We are entering an era in which the future will be shaped not simply by who invents the most, but by who can align ambition, infrastructure, talent, energy, governance, and execution at scale.
That is the lens I brought to my latest post. For me, this is not ultimately a story about one nation. It is a story about the kinds of systems that can still translate intention into reality — and the ones that cannot.
In a world defined by industrial reinvention, artificial intelligence, demographic strain, geopolitical fragmentation, and energy transition, capability is becoming civilizational again. The critical question is no longer just who has the best technology. It is who can organize society around delivery, adaptation, and long-term resilience.
My latest post explores the deeper message behind Breakneck through that broader global lens.
