Wigan Warriors
2018/2019 season marketing campaign
The Wigan Warriors are a professional rugby league club and are currently Super League Champions, not only that, they are the most successful club Rugby League team in the world! We've have had the great privilege work working with them over the last 5 years.
The Brief
Wigan Warriors needed a complete season ticked marketing campaign that would not only generate excitement but also showcase the team as the heroes of rugby that they are and therefore increasing ticket sale success.
Digital success
A key area of their marketing campaigns is the website. With live match updates, a merchandise shop, ticket store, countdown clock and Wigan TV features, the website is continually optimised to ensure campaign success throughout.
The Solution
We created a range of comprehensive marketing collateral for the 2018/2019 rugby season campaign, educating fans on match details and season ticket prices as well as a range of hospitality brochures and World Cup Challenge artwork. Using current trends and themes, we have been able to use our creativity to ensure each campaign brings something different to the rugby team, such as 'May the 4th' and 'Game of Thrones' inspired artwork.
Targeted Social Campaigns
Working hand-in-hand with Wigan Warriors, we have produced a range of social media marketing assets to push on social media ads. With a new generation of rugby fans using social media channels to discover news on their favourite clubs, we saw this as an opportunity to create targeted ads.
