Singer, songwriter and all around good guy, Jason Isbell is touring the USA this summer with his band, The 400 Unit in support of his just released record, Weathervanes. Jason and the crew at Southeastern Records reached out to Field Notes co-founder Aaron Draplin, and together they created a limited-edition 3-Pack of Field Notes Memo Books.
Here’s what Aaron had to say about the project, “It was awesome to work with Jason and Jay Steele to come up with this set! The three books can be broken down into the three elements of Jason’s musical process: ‘Songwriting,’ ‘Making the Music’ and ‘Sharing It On The Road.’ On the cover of the middle book, you’ll see his beloved ‘Red Eye’ 1959 Les Paul up close and in action. It has been awesome watching Jason flourish and become the musical juggernaut he and The 400 Unit currently are.â€

Cover and innards printed on a Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102S six-color printing press.

Bound with a Muller Martini 6-pocket saddle stitcher with cover feeder/scorer.

Corners precisely rounded to a 3/8" (9.5mm) radius with a Challenge DCM double round-corner machine.
