Her performance in the 2006 film is so forceful, in fact, that Blunt’s daughters with husband John Krasinski, 10-year-old Hazel and 7-year-old Violet, started to look at her in a whole new light. In the film, not only did Blunt appear opposite heavy-hitters including Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, and Stanley Tucci, but she more than held her own against these current and future Oscar, Emmy, and Tony winners. “It was my first big movie,” Blunt said. “It’s incredible that it has such an indelible fingerprint on people… It’s quoted to me every week.” The A Quiet Place said the AIS' charitable works are important to her because she stuttered as a child and eventually sought help. "I never thought I would be in a job where I’d have to communicate so much,” she said.
