Event Details:

The Department of Art & Art History presents a screening of short films by students in FILMPROD114: Intro to Film and Video Production, Fall 2024. Q&A and reception with the filmmakers to follow the screening.

  • Chasing Fog by Patrick Holden and Andrew Bui | Two people embark on a journey to find Karl the Fog. While being unsuccessful at first and encountering clear skies, after searching the broader San Francisco area, they find themselves enveloped within the fog.
  • “Funny How?” by Heechan Lim and Jackson McCormick | A look into “Robber Barons,” a comedy sketch writing group and their comedic process from page to stage.
  • Starlight by Julio Gomez and Jules Gittin | When a girl’s bedroom is illuminated by starlights, a physical manifestation of her dearest Nursery rhyme, their process with grief leads her to sit with the stars.
  • Tunnel by Mary Duffy and Xzavier Jauregui | As Rhys and Chris explore an abandoned tunnel, growing suspicion and a strange turn of events leads Rhys to question his friend's true intentions.
