The Nashville Predators play the second game of a back-to-back on Friday against the Calgary Flames at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

Nashville (5-9-3) has picked two points in two games to open a five-game road trip, both in 3-2 overtime losses to Colorado and Edmonton.

Scott Wedgewood was solid in net on Thursday in Edmonton, keeping Nashville in the game with a handful of key saves in the second and third period before Cole Smith's game-tying goal late in the third.

Nashville continues on the road in western Canada against a team with a rest advantage. Calgary (8-6-3) had a four-game points streak snapped in a 3-1 loss at Vancouver on Tuesday. The Flames' 5-0-1 start has given way to a middling November, though they start a four-game homestand on Friday.
