This week's top performers in high school basketball: Chesnee player reaches 2,000 points

Here are some of the Upstate’s best performers in high school basketball during the week of Feb. 5-11, the final week of the regular season. Athletes are listed in alphabetical order by school.

Boys basketball

Brady Poole, Chesnee: Poole reached a remarkable milestone by scoring his 2,000th career point. In a 91-45 win against Greenville Tech. Poole had 23 points and was 4-for-6 on 3-pointers.

Christian Andrews, Dorman: Andrews scored 21 points in a 69-59 win against Gaffney.

Keegan Arcega-Whiteside, Dorman: Arcega-Whiteside scored 18.

Amaziah Austin, Fountain Inn: Austin had 20 points and 10 rebounds in a 63-50 win against Southside.

Jack Pfister, Greer Middle College: Pfister had 24 points, 14 rebounds and blocked four shots in a win against Landrum.

Braylen Silver, Greer Middle College: Silver had 16 points and seven rebounds.

Javeyn Martin, T.L. Hanna: Martin scored 18 points in a 59-52 win against Woodmont.

Jaquarious Patterson, T.L. Hanna: Patterson scored 16.

Caden Kreger, Powdersville: Kreger had 11 points and nine rebounds in a 64-34 win against Palmetto.

Julen Iturbe, Riverside: Iturbe scored 10 of his 15 points in the fourth quarter of a 59-52 win at Greer.

Mikkel Skinner, Riverside: Skinner scored 21.

Josh Williams, Westside: Williams scored 44 points and reached 1,000 for his career in a 97-36 win against Pickens. He had also 16 in a 68-44 win against Greenwood.

Brock Cherry, Wren: Cherry had 24 points with four assists and four steals in an 80-62 win against Southside.

Jeremiah Campbell, Wren: Campbell had 21 points and six rebounds in an 80-65 win against Belton-Honea Path.

Abijah Franklin, Wren: Franklin had a combined 44 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists against Southside and Belton-Honea Path.

Girls basketball

Anyah Henderson, Blue Ridge: Henderson had nine points, six assists, five rebounds and four steals in a 52-34 win against Travelers Rest.

Zikira Henderson, Blue Ridge: Henderson, who signed this week with Brevard, had 20 points as the Lady Tigers won a fourth straight region championship.

Chaniya Jackson, Fountain Inn: Jackson scored 23 points in a 61-53 loss to Powdersville.

Elly Trickett, Riverside: Trickett had 15 points, 10 rebounds and three steals in a 58-35 win against Greer.

Adelia Stefanik, St. Joseph’s: Stefanik scored 17 points in a 56-20 win against Southside Christian.

Deyana Hayes, Wren: Hays had 13 points and 12 rebounds in a 56-23 win against Southside.

Raina McGowens, Wren: McGowens had 19 points, eight rebounds, eight assists and seven steals against Travelers Rest.
