User-driven online community

Women Talk Design is a platform highlighting incredible women and gender non-binary speakers in design and tech, a resource for conference organizers on designing more inclusive events.

Applying the organization’s new visual brand, we crafted a directory of speakers and their talks with robust filters while developing an intuitive profile management experience. Through consultations with speakers throughout the design process, we made sure that the end result matched their needs and expectations. Organizers are able to save speaker profiles and contact them through the website to help with planning their next event.

Sasha was so great at communicating throughout the process, and I really appreciate how they took all of my concerns very seriously and talked me through each one of them.

I also really loved the multiple check-ins and the ability to provide feedback. I appreciated both that a lot of feedback was implemented, but when Sasha didn’t think it was the right decision, that they talked me through it and didn’t just say “yes” to everything I said if they didn’t think it was best for what we were doing.
