Hungarian
[edit]Etymology
[edit]Of uncertain origin. Perhaps from a Slavic language. See Proto-Slavic *drěkъ. The adjective sense can be traced back to the noun sense as the noun became more and more abstract in meaning over time.[1][2][3]
