  1. (conditional suffix) Forms the second-person plural present tense of verbs (conditional mood, indefinite and definite conjugation).
    olvas (to read) + ‎-nátok → ‎olvasnátok (you would read)

  • (conditional suffix) Variants:
    -nátok is added to most back vowel verbs
    vár (to wait) + ‎-nátok → ‎várnátok (you would wait)
    -nétek is added to most front vowel verbs
    kér (to ask) + ‎-nétek → ‎kérnétek (you would ask)
    -anátok is added to back vowel verbs ending in two consonants or in a long vowel + t (exceptions: áll, száll, varr, forr, lát)
    mond (to say something) + ‎-anátok → ‎mondanátok (you would say something)
    tanít (to teach) + ‎-anátok → ‎tanítanátok (you would teach)
    -enétek is added to front vowel verbs ending in two consonants or in a long vowel + t
    fest (to paint) + ‎-enétek → ‎festenétek (you would paint)
