No Mention of Dixie Whatley and Ron Hendren

[edit]

No mention of the early anchors seems strange to me.216.244.48.124 (talk) 23:43, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please see my response in the section above this one. cheers Deconstructhis (talk) 00:49, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I added Ron Hendren to the list of former on-air personalities. I believe being the original host of the show is notable.    → Michael J    00:51, 18 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Are we sure the first co-host with Mary, before Rob Weller, was Ron Hendren? Oddly the name does not ring a bell. I tried to get a picture of Ron, on Wiki, but there is none. Is it possible there were two (male) co-hosts before Mr. Weller? Anyway, I remember (a/the) man as being rather handsome middle aged man, dark hair, somewhat overweight, yet added an excellent, stern, and typical incisive, (male) presence to the show. I was actually surprised, and disappointed, when he left. I agree with the first commentator here, that so little mention of the original anchors is odd. (John G. Hendren and Whatley were definitely the original hosts. Here is a link to a publicity photo of them. And here is a YouTube video of the show's original open, with Hendren and Whatley.    → Michael J    10:43, 17 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Can Mary Hart just retire already?

Special Correspondents ?

[edit]

What about the "Special Correspondents" who lasted one or more seasons?

Or would that list be too long or not appropriate enough to be included?

Just curious. 2600:8800:784:8F00:C23F:D5FF:FEC4:D51D (talk) 06:31, 8 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
