Non-notable

[edit]

this article is not notable. a pity if wikipedia would be reduced to report persons hurt by shots. there is thousands a day. and you find newspaper articles about them as well. every single one. --ThurnerRupert (talk) 07:19, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wait and see what comes of it. Sounds like it could be an example of the Euro far-right trying to attack "the Muslims" in general. If that is the case, then it'd certainly be notable in that regard. 70.55.219.198 (talk) 09:28, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

It's got no connection to this particular event and appears to be decades removed from it at that. 70.55.219.198 (talk) 09:28, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

new name

[edit]

moved according to deletion discussion to a more descriptive title. redirect should be deleted consequently. --ThurnerRupert (talk) 07:46, 2 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Disagree with deleting the redirect. Redirects are cheap and I don't think there is a serious confusion problem here. Also, I'm not really a fan of this new name since it ignores the murder. Dragons flight (talk) 08:27, 2 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I've undone the poorly executed move. This should be discussed first. "Shots" is not appropriate because the issue is not the shots but the people killed or wounded.  Sandstein  11:40, 3 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
If there's no opposition, I'd like to move this to Zürich Islamic center shooting as suggested so the formatting coincides with something like the Quebec City mosque shooting or Charleston church shooting? The addition of the year 2016 seems unnecessary because it's not like this will be confused with another Zürich attack. Also, we should specify the establishment involved.
