Thomas Reynolds-Moreton, 1st Earl of Ducie

Thomas Reynolds-Moreton, 1st Earl of Ducie (31 August 1776 – 22 June 1840) was the first Earl of Ducie.

He was the son of Francis Reynolds-Moreton, 3rd Baron Ducie and Mary Provis.[1] and was educated at Eton College and Exeter College, Oxford.[2] He succeeded to the title of 4th Baron Ducie of Tortworth on 19 August 1808.

He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1814. [3] He was created 1st Earl of Ducie on 28 January 1837.

He married Lady Frances Herbert, daughter of Henry Herbert, 1st Earl of Carnarvon and Lady Elizabeth Alicia Maria Wyndham on 6 December 1797.
