You asked for help, but everything is a redlink. Hey, it's no skin off my back if I don't work on the portal. Nicole (DoA Character)

Nicole may only feature in DoA, but she is a Halo character. Therefore, she belongs in the list. Or did, until I deleted her. --Thejadefalcon^{Sing your song}_{The bird's seeds} 10:40, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

She should never have been merged into HALO since she's a DOA4 game character, the redirects still make no sense, unless you think she is NOT part of DOA. 65.94.252.195 (talk) 11:25, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

By what I understand of her, yes, she is a DoA character as she has never appeared in any other Halo-related product. However, she was designed using Bungie's materials and Bungie's IP. Therefore, to me, merging to the Halo article was the best choice. However, since I've since deleted her from the Halo article, if you want to add her to the list of characters for DoA (if she isn't already), ask and I'll provide the information at the time of deletion. --Thejadefalcon^{Sing your song}_{The bird's seeds} 11:29, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

Because she's never appeared in HALO at all, it makes no sense to merge that way. It doesn't really matter who designed it, since people design things for other products all the time. A mention of her may appear in HALO articles, or the BUNGIE article, but merging is weird in the extreme, it's like merging a Star Trek TNG episode into MASH because there are in jokes about MASH in the episode, or merging FarScape into StarTrek because of the frequent parody sequences. 65.94.252.195 (talk) 11:34, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

That is just the worst logic I've heard in... well, twenty-five minutes, but it's still awful. She may not appear in the Halo universe, but she was once part of it. If anything, it should have been simply deleted and the information put on both character pages. But it wasn't. I don't know why. However, it was obviously done that way for a reason and until we know why, we shouldn't screw with that decision in any way.
