Karen Bertelsen is a Gemini nominated, 13-year veteran of Canadian television. Known for her irreverent attitude towards formulaic TV speak, Karen will tell you what is true. If you are thinking it, Karen will say it. |
|||
She began her television career at TV Hamilton Cable 14 where she hosted, produced, and edited her own shows. After four years in local cable she was hired by Toronto's CFMT. It was during this time Karen developed an immense fan base, due in large part to her no-holds-barred commentary during the wildly popular Jerry Springer show. In 2000 Karen was hired as host of the entertainment news program The Loop on MuchMoreMusic. She interviewed countless musicians and celebrities including Harrison Ford and Tom Cruise. |
