Episode 7 covers the events during Jiwoo's time in school after stealing the Awakened Cat.

Plot

Young Jiwoo asks his mother if he is really human. His mother reassures him that he is, but only a little different. He then points out that humans can't move as fast as him. His mother tells him that he is special. Jiwoo says that his friends call him a monster. Then he asks if it is wrong to have powers like him. His mother tells him that it isn't his fault, nor anyone else's fault. Jiwoo then asks why they are always running away. When his mother doesn't answer, he asks if that was why he never had any friends. Jiwoo’s mother doesn't answer but pulls him into a hug instead. He looks confused, but the conversation ends.

Jiwoo still looks young, but now he is sitting alone, watching other children play together. He looks sad and wistful. He hears a meow, then notices a cat beside him. The cat approaches him, then starts rubbing on him. He slowly reaches out to pet the cat. When the cat starts purring, he looks happy and continues to pet it.

Back in the present, someone yells his name, and Jiwoo wakes up. He is at his school, and was sleeping during his class. His teacher yells at him to get up, and says that it was unlike him to sleep through class for two days in a row. Jiwoo asks if class is over. His teacher looks confused, but tells him that class just ended. He notices Jiwoo’s vacant expression, and worriedly asks him if something is wrong. But Jiwoo cuts him off, and tells his teacher that he has to leave, then rushes out of the classroom. His teacher calls after him, but Jiwoo doesn’t mind him.

Jiwoo is lost in thought, when he bumps into Wooin. Jiwoo asks if he is alright and apologises. Wooin doesn’t respond and pushes past him. Jiwoo wonders if that boy was the one who transferred to his class last month. Jiwoo again apologises and leaves in a hurry.

Wooin’s cell phone rings and he picks up the call. The caller asks him where he is, and Wooin tells him that he is at school. The caller exclaimes in surprise. He tells Wooin that he let him attend school only because Wooin had told him that something important was there. He mockingly asks if Wooin now considers himself a real student, and scolds him for being at school while the trackers were at large. Wooin apologies to the caller. The caller tells him that he is being useless, and tells him to come back to the lab. Wooin agrees, and the call ends. He sees other students leaving school in groups and chatting with each other. Then he also walks away.

Back in Jiwoo’s house, the Awakened Cat wakes up  and looks confused. The other cats approach it, but it suddenly becomes hostile. The other cats run away, and the awakened cat approaches them menacingly. It jumps to attack them, but Kayden intervenes, knocking out the Awakened Cat. The other cats show their thanks, and Kayden looks disgruntled.

Jiwoo comes home, and the other cats surround him. He asks Kayden if he ate while he was gone, and notices the opened cans of cat food. Jiwoo then says that he was worried for no reason. Jiwo notices the Awakened Cat, and asks Kayden why it still hasn’t woken up. Kayden tells him that it woke up once, before Jiwoo came home. Jiwoo sounds relieved, and was worried that the cat would never wake up.

Kayden asks Jiwoo why he keeps the stray cats in his house. Jiwoo initially refuses to answer, saying that it wasn’t Kayden’s business. But Kayden says that it was up for him to decide. So Jiwoo tells Kayden that he had no friends in his childhood, but that he had always wanted one. The first friend he had ever made was a stray cat, who always stayed by his side when he was upset. However, one day, the stray had vanished, and Jiwoo never saw that cat again. So he tries to help out any strays he comes across, by buying them food and toys. Then he smiles and tells Kayden that it wasn’t much of a story. Kayden looks thoughtful, then agrees.

Jiwoo yawns, and says that he still feels very tired. Kayden tells him that using his powers would have drained him, and that he had also stayed up all night. Jiwoo lies down to take a nap, and tells Kayden that he was happy he was still there. He asks Kayden to stay, at least until he gets better. Kayden tells to stop talking and sleep. Jiwoo agrees, and falls asleep. Kayden looks thoughtfully at Jiwoo sleeping, and then sighs.
