Episode 3 continues Kayden's and Jiwoo's fight against the unknown cat.

Plot

The episode opens with a flashback of Kayden's past. A huge blue electric attack had just caused a huge explosion. In the midst of that explosion is Kayden who is dominantly levitating over an injured man. The man concedes his defeat to Kayden and the onlookers discuss how Kayden has won again. They mention that Kayden keeps challenging awakeners and winning, saying how renowned awakened are no longer accepting challenges from Kayden. Kayden continues walking into the distance when an onlooker says, "Isn't Kayden better than even the strongest awakened ones?" The flashback switches to another scene of an unknown man in a suit telling Kayden with

his hood up to come to him. He offers his second in command position to Kayden and says he'll let Kayden rule the world alongside himself. On the other side of Kayden is another group, who is not as neatly dressed. They also ask Kayden to join their group, saying "Together we can rule the world." Another scene is shown with Kayden standing over a group of kneeling awakeners who are asking him to lead them. They continue to refer to Kayden as "Great Kayden." The flashback ends with Jiwoo asking Kayden what he is doing when Kayden realizes he is still playing with the cat toy.

Kayden becomes greatly embarrassed and looks at his paws in disbelief. He cannot believe that he is even acting like a cat despite being human. While Kayden is in shock over his behavior, the unknown cat quickly uses this chance to snatch the cat toy from Jiwoo. The unknown cat destroys the cat toy and in doing so, reveals that he has a scar running down his right eye. Jiwoo quickly realizes that the unknown cat might be the same as another stray cat in his neighborhood that had gone missing a few weeks ago. The unknown cat then continues his attack on Jiwoo who quickly dodges. Jiwoo picks up the panicking Kayden and continues running down the alleyway, taking advantage of the fact that the unknown cat had jumped in the middle of a dumpster. Jiwoo quickly runs down some stairs and manages to escape the cat. Jiwoo relaxes now that the cat is no longer chasing them but Kayden then points out that the cat may injure others when it finds another victim. Jiwoo panics asking, "What do we do?" However, Kayden is confused at Jiwoo's gesture and states that the only solution is to keep running away. Nonetheless, Jiwoo continues to say that they should do something about the cat in which Kayden responds that they should call the police. However, Jiwoo sheepishly says that he left his phone at home. Kayden then says that there's nothing to do unless Jiwoo plans on stepping up. Jiwoo then perks up, saying that he can step up. Kayden is again confused on why Jiwoo would be willing to get involved and Jiwoo responds, calling Kayden a pessimistic cat. Jiwoo tries to brainstorm a plan with Kayden, realizing that the cat is very strong as it is able to rip off the doors of a car. Kayden is amazed at how soft Jiwoo's heart is and how willing he is to step up despite the fact that the cat has the means to kill him.

Kayden then gives Jiwoo some of his power in order to defeat the cat. He transfers some of his electric ability to Jiwoo by touching his head. Jiwoo then feels an immense power overflowing in him when the cat shows up. Kayden wonders why Jiwoo is so confident despite facing such a dangerous enemy and sees Jiwoo using a different power to dodge the cat. Kayden then realizes that Jiwoo might have super speed powers. Using Kayden’s power at the last moment, Jiwoo knocks the cat unconscious with a punch. The unknown cat then shrinks and reverts back into a normal cat.
