Very cool, and an unreal scope for a 2 week jam! Really nice puzzles, and even alternate endings. I got a bad ending, so I’ll have to try again when I get chance. Great job!
I've finished Dumbfellas! It's very fun with good pixelart graphics and nice voice acting. I love all the puns and that you can solve the game in different ways! I can't believe that you and hankworx did this within 2 weeks!
Good job! This is one of my favorite #108AdvChal entries so far!
This is very fun and I love the fact that you can solve missions in different ways that will influence the ending. Also parmigiano on seafood pasta.
Is it a bug that I can't give Rosaria coffee?
Please check that you are using GIVE and not USE. By default the items in the inventory get selected with USE activated. You can check what verb you are using in the prompt on top of the Verbs menu.
I checked, you should be able to give the coffee to Rosaria anytime with GIVE. Let me know if it still doesn't work.
What engine did you use for this? Congrats!
Unity + Adventure Creator
Wow, I'm impressed, despite some bugs, but that's normal given the deadline. Many hours of gameplay for all the endings. And the voice acting! Congrats!
Yes, two weeks were not enough to test everything, especially given how much we tried to do! Will fix the little things for after the jam.
SPOILERS: I think you got 2 bad endings: Chapter 1 (bad) + Chapter 2 (Good and Bad). To get the good one you need to find the smartest way to buy the Corleone's Hotel. :)
The scope of this game is very impressive!
Small nitpick: I got stuck for a while trying to give something to someone by just clicking on the inventory and then on the character, until I realized that clicking on the inventory defaults to "Use" but I needed a different verb.
While I got the bad ending, it was fun. I'll play the other jam games first and then maybe I'll try to get the good ending.
There is a good ending, and a very good "romantic" ending. And three versions of the "bad" ending.
A story based on choices and with different endings, moreover, intelligent and intuitive.
I had a lot of fun! good job!
Thanks!
The production value on this game is mind blowing! Amazing artwork and voice acting. I had a good laugh from seeing that a game developer, was one of the options for what Mikey wants to be when he grows up!
Actually based on what career little Mikey choose as his dream job, some of the dialogues change for the rest of the game. Replay value!
