The Defenders of Jericho, also known as the Guards of Jericho, are minor antagonists in the Big Idea franchise, VeggieTales. They are portrayed by the French Peas.
Background[]
When the Israelites are heading for the Promised Land, there eventually reach the city of Jericho. On the city's wall, there are soldiers on top mocking the Israelites. The Israelites should march around the wall, but as they marched, the soldiers threw slurpees at them. The Israelites will march around the wall once everyday for the first six days and seven times for the seventh day. After they did that, they yelled and the wall collapsed.
Personality[]
The Defenders of Jericho are very boastful with their wall that no one could destroy it. They also mocked the Israelites for just marching, because they are overconfident with themselves, but they lost the battle.
Physical Appearance[]
The Defenders of Jericho appeared as the French peas from VeggieTales, who are one of the smallest characters in the franchise. They also have copper spartan helmets to imply that they are spartans.
