Tex and Avery is an American animated slapstick comedy television series created by Stephen Hillenburg and Chris Savino. It is produced by DreamWorks Animation Television and United Plankton Pictures.

Premise[]

Set in a fictional island called Wacky Kingdom, inhabited by human-like creatures known as Wackies, the series focuses on the wacky adventures of two young siblings Tex and Avery, who got chosen by King Toonius who gave them Super Gloves, that contains super powers to help to defeat any evil that would lurk throughout the island.

The series' title characters, Tex and Avery, are named after well-known animator and director Tex Avery, who was crucial in the creation and/or evolution of famous animated characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Droopy, Screwball Squirrel, George & Junior, Chilly Willy and King Julien, among others.
Tex and Avery is considered one of Stephen Hillenburg's most well-known shows and one of his wackiest works.
