DSA Mentee Application

DSA Career Mentoring & Networking Program (For Division of Student Affairs Staff Only)

Student Affairs staff have the opportunity to join a division-wide mentorship program for the 2024-2025 academic year. Staff can apply to be either a mentor to someone in the division or be mentored by a Student Affairs professional.

This program provides career and professional development opportunities for staff, whether they serve as a mentor or a mentee. Both roles will help staff develop the skills they need to progress in the next steps of their career.

Information

Staff who are interested in serving as a mentee should be aware of the following:

  • Applications for mentees will open on September 20, 2024.

  • Mentees should plan to participate in the program between January -August 2025.

  • Mentees will be notified of their mentee pairings by November 15, 2025.

  • Pairs should meet for at least one hour each month with their mentee. Depending on the mentee's goals, additional time may be needed each month to prepare for meetings (gathering resources, preparing discussion topics, etc.).
