UX London: talk & workshop proposals
Thanks for your interest in UX London! We get a huge number of people interested in speaking at the event so the aim of this form is to understand a bit about your background as well as details of what you'd like to share with the UX London community. It really helps to have all this information in one place, so thank you for taking the time.

Although the event is curated based on feedback from the UX London community we are really committed to working with brand new speakers who bring in-depth practical knowledge and fresh perspectives.

We always pay ALL our speakers for their time as well as covering the cost of accommodation and economy travel.

We don't have a formal pitch process with a fixed timeline. If we like the sound of your submission we'll be in touch when we're next looking for speakers. We normally start working on the line-up of the six months before the event and confirm the final line up about two months before the event.

Guidelines for pitching your session:
  • UX London hosts a mix of 30 minute talks and 2.5 hour workshops so please bear this in mind.
  • Please provide a title for your proposed talk or workshop, avoiding vague areas of expertise.
  • We also need a description of what your session will cover and what value participants will take away from it. A short paragraph and a few bullets is ideal. We are likely to tweak the copy for tone of voice but please help us out by writing it in the third person.
  • Please state who is the ideal audience for your session - which job roles and seniority level is it suitable for?
  • Pitch one session at a time - send over as many pitches as you like!
  • We may not get back to you straight away as we invite speakers in waves and like to have options in case slots open up nearer the event, we also roll forward ideas to future events.
  • We won't include sessions that are designed to promote a product, service or company.
  • We love sessions that offer practical and actionable methodologies.
