"Unicorny" is the ninth animated short of Tangled: The Series. It premiered on August 23, 2018.
Plot[]
It's a rainy night in Corona. Vladimir has called upon Rapunzel for help. His favorite ceramic unicorn is missing from his collection in the royal gallery. The only witness they have is Big Nose, and they bribe him with cake. Giving in, he confesses that he was around Vladimir's unicorn collection. While on his lunch break, he picked up Vladimir's favorite unicorn and dropped it in his food by accident. He tried to wash it, with the intention of putting it back. Unfortunately, he dropped it out the window, and landed in the possession of Lance and Eugene.
Suspecting Eugene and Lance to be the cuplrits, Rapunzel has them both wrapped in her hair, and interrogates them. Lance is too nervous to talk, but Eugene denies everything. Pacing back and fourth, Rapunzel's trail of solving the case has gone cold. However, as she sits down, she cracks the case. With everyone together, Rapunzel declares the culprits are Maximus and Pascal. It turns out after the unicorn fell out the window, it actually landed in the back of Maximus' hay cart when he past Eugene and Lance. He eventually found it while eating, and when he heard that Pascal was missing a horse shaped chess piece he replaced it with Vladimir's unicorn. Pascal gets his missing chess piece back, and the missing unicorn is returned to Vladimir.
