Prince T'Challa II, legally known as Toussaint, is the son of Nakia and T'Challa, the late king of Wakanda. He makes his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Background[]
Toussaint was born in 2018-2019 to Nakia, who had survived Thanos' snap. Due to his father, T'Challa, being one of the victims of Thanos' snap, Nakia named her son after his father. Nakia raised Toussaint in Haiti, where he met his grandmother Queen Ramonda who had also survived the snap. Nakia decided to have T'Challa's name changed to Toussant so that his identity as T'Challa's son could be kept a secret. After T'Challa was restored to live five years later, he and Nakia agreed to continue raising Toussaint in Haiti so he would not have the pressure of one day becoming king, and be kept him out of the public eye.
Personality[]
Toussaint is shown to be a sweet little boy who enjoys socialising with others and meeting new people. He is also shown to be very trustworthy as he happily told Shuri his secret about his real name after learning she is good at keeping secrets. He is shown to be a very polite young boy as shown when greeting people and asking his mom if it's okay to tell Shuri his real name. He appears to share some of his father's personality as he jokes with Shuri about her name, which she likes.

In 2025, Toussaint is first seen when Queen Ramonda visits Haiti to speak to Nakia and to ask for her help in finding Shuri who has gone missing thanks to Namor. Toussaint introduces himself to the Queen and learns she is his grandmother. Toussaint is then seen again at the end of the film where he and his mother Nakia come and join Shuri who is mourning her brother T'Challa, Toussaint's father. Here Nakia reveals that Toussaint is T'Challa's son and they agreed for their son to be raised in Haiti so he did not have the pressure of the crown to grow up with. Nakia mentions that not long after T'Challa was resurrected, Toussaint and Nakia learnt that T'Challa had developed an unknown disease and warned them of his eventual death so asked them not to attend his funeral, but to have their own for him at their home. Toussaint then fully introduces himself to Shuri and tells her that Toussaint is only his legal name; his birth name is actually T'Challa II, being named after his late father. The family embrace each other and mourn T'Challa together.
Trivia[]
- Toussaint is one of two children to grow up in the blip period along with Morgan Stark who is about a year younger than Toussant. They both lost their fathers in a matter of months.
