Eventually, when Prince Charming and Cinderella came back, the guards are ordered by the King to bring Lady Tremaine into custody, though she vanished with Drizella and Anastasia. Later, the guards are ordered again by the King to arrest Lady Tremaine at Prince Charming's wedding, but she refuses to concede defeat and instead, decides to take control of the kingdom by using the wand to turn them into various animals in order to evade arrest. It is unknown if the Fairy Godmother turns the guards back into their own selves or they change back automatically.
