"Dodgsonland (Alice in Wonderland/In a World of My Own)" is a song exclusive to Disney's Alice in Wonderland Jr. It is sung by the full cast at the beginning of the play and named after the author of Alice in Wonderland, Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, better known under his pen name Lewis Carroll. It is a combination of "Alice in Wonderland" and "In a World of My Own."
Prelude[]
- A boy in a white vest puts his new watch up to his ear; taps it. Runs to other kids, asking them for the proper time, always fixing his watch.
- A set of triplets (three kids all wearing the same horizontal-striped outfit) plays Keep-Away with another little boy's big red hat.
- Two kids practice an elaborate handshake, adding more and more levels to the standard greeting.
- Several other kids play a game of Royal Cardsmen like War or Go Fish.
- One child blows bubbles from a hundred-bubble waffle blower, while four children pop the bubbles.
- Several girls wearing flowered dresses pick daisies.
- A bunch of kids plays a mad Ring-Around-the-Rosie, spinning in a fast circle chain until they all fall down.
- Several kids play 1-2-3 Red Light. The largest kid, wearing a red shirt, acts like the Red Light, spinning around, trying to catch kids moving.
