Colombia, officially the Republic of Colombia, is a country found in South America. It is bordered by the North American country of Panama to the northwest, north by the Caribbean Sea, south by Ecuador and Peru, east by Venezuela, southeast by Brazil, and west by the Pacific Ocean. Its capital is Bogotá, found in the Andes mountain range. The country's name is derived from the Italian explorer sailing for Spain, Christopher Columbus. The country is well known for its wildlife biodiversity as well as being home to several indigenous tribes such as the Muisca, Quimbaya, and Zenu. Its geography ranges from the coastal areas to the Andes mountains to the Llanos (plains) to the Amazon Rainforest Basin. Colombia is the only South American country with coasts at the Pacific Ocean and Atlantic Ocean.
The film tells the story of a young adolescent girl named Mirabel Madrigal who struggles with being the only member in her family to not have any powers.
