Text Tone on my iPhone 11 gone post iOS 18.1.1 update.

I just completed the iOS update 18.1.1 and now my text tone ( twinkle ) has defaulted to none & is no longer even on the menu. It was a text tone that was from apple, not purchased. The same thing happened to another text tone I had for my kids when the 17. something iOS update was completed. It is no longer available either. Only on as a phone ringtone ???? Why ... do these things continue to happen. No more iphones or watches for me. Updates may improve security but seems like there is always a down side regarding phone functions which impact the consumer.
