Tarkus Whin is a member of the Green Lantern Corps.

History

On his first mission as a Green Lantern Tarkus Whin discovered that star 196 the class 4 sun near his sector edge became unstable. As he planned to evacuate the nearby planet the sun collapsed and turned into a Black Hole. As the pressure killed him the Green Lantern Ring left him to search for a new Lantern making his corpse property of the Spider Guild.

Tarkus was discovered by his replacement Soranik Natu who provided his burial service.

He is later shown to be memorialized in the Crypts of the Green Lantern Corps.

Notes

• In Green Lantern Corps: Recharge #3, Tarkus' sector is given as Sector 1471. However, as Soranik Natu is said to be his replacement, this is presumably a misprint for Sector 1417.
