SUCH AN AWESOME GAME!!

REDUCED TIME IN EVERY CASE UP TO THE SERIOUS SAM 4 RELEASE :D THIS GAME IS AMAZING! ^^ Greetings from Germay
I love this game, Contragulations!!
Thank you! Steam version is newer, bigger and better, so if you liked this one, you can follow the game progress on Steam to be up to date with development. :)
Will we still get acces to new updates?
This is just a place for the alpha, buy it on steam if you want the full game + support =p
Tormental has just been released on Steam in Early Access. Enjoy!
Will we see a version on itch.io too? Thanks
Not the Early Access one, at least not until the full release, cause this version is updated almost daily so having it on several stores would be a hassle to update at this point. :)
played through it, loved the art style and non seriousness of it(ironic) cant wait for release
Heya, thanks for playing the game, and liking the art stlye! It was fun watching you play, especially now that the Early Access is out!
Super fun. Really liked the demo. Can't wait for the full release!
My gods, so much fun and energy in this game by far. Really thanks guys :))
hey i have founded a bug. if while playing with serious sam you can jump the bridge by the sides. and that do a bug to the gun
Looks great
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Oh my god, so many people covered this version on YouTube! Cryptic Hybrid, CoalFire, ScottishGeekPlays, StepVibes, jordanthompson, thank you, guys. It was enjoyable to watch. :D
Now you can try Battle Bolts if you haven't already. :)

It was a pleasure to play
Hi. Will the game have localization in other languages? Thanks.
It's not planned at this time, cause we're working on Early Access version and doing localization on unfinished game is not that common due to constant changes. But we will have more info as we will get closer to full release. There will be other languages in full version. :)
so the new version won't be available on itch.io? i'd rather not buy it on steam if possible
For the Early Access period, Serious Sam: Tormental will be available on Steam only because it's a Steam program. But if all goes well, there is no reason not to consider other stores and even consoles on full release. But we're going step by step.
Was anticipating this game greatly, and took a look at it. It has exceeded my expectations. I did hold off on doing a longer video or going for more playthroughs as we are so close to the EA release which I plan on delving into it deep! Love it. Everyone should try this.
Also sorry about my nerdy laugh at some points, I got a little giddy with this game.
Thank you for trying out the game. As you already know, EA version will kick butt compared to this one so we're pretty sure you'll like it! :)
Looking foward to Early Access!
So far this looks perfectly playable 😗👍
Not like Nuclear Throne where peas take off one third of a full health bar and you don't get even a half-second of mercy invincibility.
Keep up the good work 👌
Thank you. If it wasn't playable, we wouldn't release it, even for free. It's playable and fun, but new version is bigger and better in every aspect. One of the most visible changes are procedurally generated areas in new version, unlike in this one.
As I'm telling other people who tried this version. If you liked it, you'll probably appreciate what we've done in the last year and you'll probably love Early Access version. That being said, we will continue to listen to player's feedback throughout Early Access and try to make highly addictive, high paced rogulite game with replayability value. And we'll even have story in new version, written by The Talos Principle writer Jonas Kyratzes and his wife, Verena.
Gave it a go...
Heya StepVibes, thanks for giving Tormental a go! It was very fun watching you enjoy yourself. If you liked this version so much, It'll blow your mind seeing what Early Access has to offer ;D
Looking forward to it!
I found you :)
I do love a bit of twin stick shooter fun :)
Hey Scottish Geek, thank you for playing Tormental! It's evident that you had fun, and more fun will definitely be had once the game reaches Early Access! Until then. ;)
I did indeed :) looking forward to the full version :)
Really awesome stuff! The combat, music and sound design are super satisfying! I would say my only real complaint is that the visuals feel a little underwhelming compared to everything. Looking forward to seeing what this becomes!
Hey CoalFire, thanks for the super cool video. Also for some very useful points regarding your opinion - I hope that the Early Access version fulfills your expectations! :D Stay tuned.
Yeah, the artstyle is a bit too far from the classic SS games. Maybe there will be more distinct enemy design for the final version.
Hey we just wrote a blog post that is explaining the differences!

Wow, this is actually super good and just what I wanted I Hate Running Backwards to be.
Looks great. Any plan to sell full version on itch or any other platform than steam?
Not for now since we have to see how the Early Access goes, but if everything goes well, nothing is set in stone yet. :)
Thanks for straight answer. The alpha was fun, looking forward to EA.
i love this game
Which means we love you, now. :D
Thank you. :)
