Roland Fancher is a character appearing in the Starz Original Series Counterpart. He is the Dimension One Office of Interchange Director of Diplomacy and Peter Quayle's father-in-law.
In Dimension Two, Fancher and his wife were killed by The Flu in 1997.
D1 Fancher is described as an expert litigator and feared power negotiator between both dimensions. He's responsible for negotiating the exchange of prisoners between worlds.

Fancher negotiates with the Dimension Two Ambassador for Baldwin's extradition. He demands up to date census figures for the United States and the location of an oil reserve in the South Pacific. (See: The Lost Art of Diplomacy)
Fancher attends a birthday party thrown by his daughter Clare for his son in law Peter Quayle. (See: The Sincerest Form of Flattery)
Fancher gets word of his daughter's car accident just as his assistant Helen Moller begins shooting up his office. (See No Man's Land (Part One))
Fancher is in shock after seeing his secretary's counterpart shoot up the office. He's angry at Peter Quayle about the accident, but also guilty that he didn't listen when Peter warned him about the mole within Strategy. (See No Man's Land (Part 2))
