Overview
The Nineteenth ACM Workshop on Hot Topics in Networks (HotNets-2020) will bring together researchers in computer networks and systems to engage in a lively debate on the theory and practice of networking. HotNets provides a venue for discussing innovative ideas and for debating future research agendas in networking.
International registrants should be particularly aware and careful about visa requirements, and should plan travel well in advance. All visa inquiries must be handled by ACM headquarters. Closer to the workshop, more information about how to obtain a visa support letter from ACM will be posted here.
Registered attendees will receive attendance information on live video sessions via Zoom as well as parallel discussions and Q&A on Slack. -->Virtual Event Information
In light of continued effects from the COVID-19 pandemic, HotNets 2020 will be a fully virtual event. We will take this opportunity to deploy and try out several new features designed to encourage interaction and discussion at HotNets.
- In contrast to the invite-only format in previous years, registration for HotNets 2020 is open to
all members of the community.
- There are two types of access to the workshop: Live interactive zoom sessions for registered attendees, and concurrent streaming YouTube broadcasts for other viewers.
- In addition to Zoom/YouTube, parallel discussions and Q&A will be hosted on Slack, which is also open to the general public.
- Finally, Hotnets 2020 will be a 3-day event (3.5 hours per day)
