Description
Bahasa Indonesia: Lambang Kabupaten Sleman. Berbentuk persegi panjang yang di dalamnya terdapat bintang, Gunung Merapi dalam segilima, Candi Prambanan, tiga gelombang air, padi dan kapas, serta pita bertuliskan SLEMAN. Lambang Sleman memberi indikasi hari berpindahnya pusat pemerintahan dari Ambarrukmo menuju Beran pada tanggal 4 (empat buah kapas) bulan 7 (tujuh bulir padi) tahun 1964 (suryasengkala Catur Rasa Trus Manunggal, enam daun kapas, dan empat buah kapas). Lambang ditetapkan berdasarkan Perda Kabupaten Sleman No. 11 Tahun 2003.
