Description
English: Coat of arms of Province of Ravenna
Italiano: Stemma della provincia di Ravenna. Concesso con il R.D. del 28 marzo e 4 giugno 1938, RR.LL.PP. del 28 ottobre 1938, ha la seguente blasonatura: «d'oro all'aquila di rosso».

Del 20/10/1938 "Vittorio Emanuele III ecc. ecc. Ci piacque con Nostri Decreti in data 28 marzo 1938-XVI e 4 Giugno 1938-XVI, concedere alla Provincia di Ravenna la facoltà di usare uno stemma e gonfalone provinciale, Ed essendo stato il Nostro Decreto registrato come avevamo ordinato, alla Corte dei Conti e trascritto nei registi della Consulta Araldica e dell'Archivio di Stato in Roma, Vogliamo ora spedire solenne documento della accordata grazia all'Ente concessionario. Perciò, in virtù della Nostra Autorità Reale e Costituzionale, dichiariamo spettare alla Provincia di Ravenna il diritto di far uso di uno stemma e di un gonfalone provinciale miniati nei fogli qui annessi e descritti come appresso:
Stemma: D'oro. all'aquila di rosso.
Capo del Littorio: di rosso (porpora) al Fascio Littorio d'oro circondato da due rami di quercia e d'alloro annodati da un nastri dai colori nazionali. Ornamenti esteriori da Provincia.

Gonfalone: Drappo di colore azzurro riccamente ornato di ricami d'oro caricato dello stemma sopra descritto con l'iscrizione centrata in oro: Provincia di Ravenna. Le parti di metallo ed i nastri saranno dorati. L'asta verticale sarà ricoperta di velluto azzurro con bullette dorate poste a spirale. Nella freccia sarà rappresentato lo stemma della Provincia e sul gambo inciso il nome. Cravatta e nastri tricolorati dai colori nazionali frangiati d'oro. Dichiariamo inoltre di tale provvedimento sia presa nota nel Libro Araldico degli Enti Morali. Comandiamo poi alle Nostre Corti di Giustizia, ai Nostri Tribunali ed a tutte le Potestà civili e militari di riconoscere e di mantenere alla Provincia di Ravenna i diritti specificati in queste Nostre Lettere Patenti, le quali saranno sigillate con Nostro sigillo Reale firmate da Noi e dal Duce, Primo Ministro Segretario di Stato, e vedute alla Consulta Araldica. Firmato Vittorio Emanuele. Controfirmato: Mussolini"
