Deutsch: Das Wappen zeigt das Schleusentor der Schleuse Uelzen am Elbe-Seitenkanal, welche im Gemeindegebiet liegt. Es war bis zum 31. Dezember 2011 das Wappen der aufgelösten Samtgemeinde Wrestedt. Das Einhorn entstammt dem Wappen der früheren Gemeinde Wrestedt.
