Clearleft is hiring

It’s been a great first year for us at Clearleft. We’ve worked for clients big and small, near and far; it’s been hard graft but great fun. And the good news is we’ve got to the stage where we need to grow a bit. The combination of additional projects from existing customers (always very gratifying) and the constant demand for great user-centred design from new clients, means we’re having to turn away some really interesting projects. And we like interesting projects, so we need some help.

We need a talented producer/information architect to join our team in Brighton. You’ll be the sort of person who loves the Web, keeping up on the trends and turmoils in the industry. You’ll be comfortable & experienced talking with and presenting to clients, creating complex sitemaps, designing detailed interactive wireframes, running card sorts, and all the other tools that are part of being an IA(information architect). You’ll be able to write well; have a good sense of aesthetic; understand accessibility, and be able to code XHTML/CSS to a reasonable level. You’ll be well organised and motivated, and creative in your solutions.

In return you get to work with a small consultancy full of people who love what they do. You’ll be working for clients varying from high-tech startups to government departments; variety is what you’ll get, so flexibility is what you’ll need. Ultimately we’re in this business because we love it and we want you to love it too.

If this sounds tempting, read the full job spec (which has details of more perks, including a whopping training budget) and send us your details.
