Firm History:
Thiam & Associés is an independent business law firm based in Conakry (Republic of Guinea), providing business law expertise to local and international clients. The firm provides legal advice to its Guinean, African and/or international clients, and assists them in all matters of dispute resolution.

Thiam & Associés was founded by young African lawyers sharing a common passion for business law and Africa, who previously gained an expertise in some of the most prestigious international law firms. The founders of the firm, motivated partly by a growing business law market in sub-Saharan Africa, were led by the desire to participate in the development of this market. They undertook the goal to establish a law firm based on the excellence of its service and qualified to provide legal advice to Guinean, African and international companies, public and private institutions, investment funds and governments in their various projects.

The founders of the firm are strongly convinced that as a structural element, Law will contribute to the development of the African continent that is in full mutation. To this end, it is essential to cultivate a certain number of values (amongst which are trust, rigor, ethics and excellence in the service provided) since the clients are entitled to receive the best service from their legal counsel.
