I bought the same schoolhouse fixture for a remodel, I love it, fantastic fixture for the price. Like you I don't think I've ever turned away from a schoolhouse fixture.

Sandra, thank you! I hope to have some dramatic 'after' pics of Gail's very soon...I'm a bit overwhelmed how many kitchens Ive designed this year. I've been smok'n busy!! 2 approaching complete installation, 2 others designed and out for pricing, 2 currently in design planning stage, 1 more in que. Whew. Hi Carol,

I love all your designs, but have to say that you are smok'in in the kitchen! The scale of that hood is incredible and I can't wait to see the entire space and mudroom, we just put 2 schoolhouse lights in our mud/laundry room and I love them too. I'm a big box store kitchen designer (NKBA diploma graduate) and envy the creative freedom you have with your customers, of course you are so deserving of it.

Hi Kelly, Those quilts were in a roadside shop somewhere between Yarmouth and Liverpool. Gorgeous quality, they wouldn't even let you touch them without gloves on. The pillows however, were from the Mahone Bay Quilt Shop,,,most of the items in there were imported. Oh yes, Elliot's fav spot,,,can't ever put books there, he owns it.

We somehow managed to miss those yummy-looking mussels on our trip to NS.

Love the wood floor in the chink log home. Also love the white lacquer boxes, the copper range hood, and the cat in the bookcase :-)
