Fans of boozy restaurant Edmund’s Oast can very soon take home some of the beers and wines served at the establishment with the opening of Edmund’s Oast Exchange. This new Morrison Drive shop is the updated version of The Charleston Beer Exchange, which helped launch the Lowcountry’s love of craft brews and led to the foundation of Edmund’s Oast.
The stunning two-story space will offer over 1,000 varieties of beer and wine sold in cans, bottles, kegs, and growlers. This will also be the only place to take home beers produced at Edmund’s Oast restaurant.
Here, photographer Robert Donovan gets a tour of the epic space before the grand opening on Saturday, August 19, at 11 a.m.
Edmund’s Oast Exchange is led by certified sommelier Sarah O’Kelley and advanced cicerone Brandon Plyler. The shop at 1081 B Morrison Dr. opens Tuesday through Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
