In March 2024, UCI Health acquired Tenet’s Pacific Coast Network, which includes four medical centers, formerly known as Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, Lakewood Regional Medical Center, Los Alamitos Medical Center and Placentia-Linda Hospital, as well as its associated outpatient locations.
UCI Health currently delivers care at UCI Medical Center in Orange and a growing network of multispecialty care centers. Additionally, we are opening a new medical complex in Irvine, with the first outpatient building, the Joe C. Wen & Family Center for Advanced Care, opening spring 2024.
By joining the UCI Health system, we are bringing together our collective strengths to make a larger impact on the health of our community. Our combined knowledge and compassionate care will enable us to deliver the advanced care that your community deserves.

About the recent transition to UCI Health
On March 27, 2024, UCI Health acquired four medical centers at Fountain Valley, Lakewood, Los Alamitos and Placentia Linda and outpatient care offices.
We now begin a journey of partnering together with the physicians and teams to improve health and bring more services to people locally.

UCI Health Integration Timeline
Led by the UCI Health Integration Management Office (IMO), we are working to bring together our teams to offer better care than ever in Orange County and beyond.
Integration has three main phases: Pre-Day 1 for planning and preparing, First 100 Days to focus on stabilizing our new system, and Years 1-3 to focus on long term integration.
Throughout the process, our focus is to predict and plan for system continuity and protect patient care and clinical quality, prioritize and pivot to a longer-term integration strategy and vision over time, creating sustainable system performance.
