Campus Safety has developed a UNC-Chapel Hill public safety campaign – Carolina Ready – to support the University’s preparedness goal of being “a prepared and resilient UNC-Chapel Hill campus community with the capabilities required to be informed of, be prepared for, and take action against threats and hazards.”

To achieve this, Carolina Ready provides resources and education for the campus community to:

  • Be Informed of how the University communicates emergency information.
  • Be Prepared by creating personal emergency plans.
  • Take Action when emergencies occur.
