Funkcija
[uredi | uredi izvor]Ovaj gen se lokalizira u glavnom kompleksu histokompatibilnosti (MHC) klase III na hromosomu 6. Funkcija njegovog proteinskog proizvoda je nepoznata, ali njegova sveprisutna ekspresija i konzeviranost i kod jednostavnih i kod složenih eukariota sugerira da bi to moglo biti domaćinski gen.[6]
