Jason Horowitz is Senior Vice President, U.S. Marketing and Head of Global Media and Digital at Mattel. In this role, Jason leads the marketing division in the U.S., and media strategy, business insights and digital engagement globally, for a portfolio of intellectual properties including iconic brands like Barbie, Hot Wheels and Fisher-Price.
Jason has served in a variety of leadership positions during his more than 15-year tenure at Mattel. Most recently, Jason was Senior Vice President of Hot Wheels, where he grew the global franchise through brand, content and product innovations. Prior to that, Jason was Senior Vice President, Global Entertainment Partnerships responsible for managing relationships with license owners including Disney, Nickelodeon, Universal, Warner Bros. and WWE, among others.
Earlier in his Mattel career, Jason held a variety of senior marketing roles for various brands and categories including Batman and Games. He also helped to launch the Company’s Franchise Development team.
An avid sports fan, Jason began his career as an Associate Producer at ABC Sports Online.
Jason received his Bachelor’s with Honors at the University of Michigan and his MBA at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
