Silver is a Material in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Silver is a fairly common material available from multiple sources. It is dropped by several enemies: Shield Outsiders (base drop rate 10.00%) in Dian Cécht Cathedral and Towers of Twin Dragons, Bloodbringers (8.00%) in Entrance, Dian Cécht Cathedral and Hall of Termination, and Lance Armors (12.00%) in the Dian Cécht Cathedral and the Livre Ex Machina.
In addition, it is part of the random drops assigned to blue chests in the Towers of Twin Dragons and the Livre Ex Machina.
Finally, three Silver are awarded for completing Lindsay's Hunting Quest "Avenge the death of Edward!" by defeating five Shield Outsiders. The first Shield Outsider can be found at the Entrance as soon as the player acquires the Double Jump shard (by defeating Andrealphus in the Livre Ex Machina). In the third room of the Entrance (the one with the first Sabnock), head to the top and jump kick the Aello there to reach either of the high ledges; continue left and also jump kick the Cyhyraeth there to reach another high ledge and go right; the next room has a Shield Outsider, an Axe Outsider (which defeating five is also required to complete another of Lindsay's quests), and a Bloodbringer (which also drops Silver), along with a couple of treasures.

Like almost all materials, Silver is only useful for crafting via Johannes's Alchemy menu in Arvantville.
